Today an order passed from Sri Akal Takht Sahib mentioning that there will be no movie onwords on any Sikh Personality which belongs to Sikh History. This order is passed because of recent movies in Punjabi Cinema in which actors have played role of different Sikh personalities from history and there were many people against it.
The current acting Jathedar (head) of Akal Takht is Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj today passed this order.
