Residents of Mansa held a strong protest against the recent shootings in the city. They demanded the immediate arrest of those accused of openly firing in the crowded market. Recently, unidentified assailants opened fire at three different locations in Mansa city in broad daylight. The attackers reportedly targeted three businessmen, though no injuries were reported. Two shots were also fired at a pesticide shop, but the shop owner narrowly escaped.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras, in which two young men on a motorcycle can be seen firing shots and fleeing the scene. While fleeing, their motorcycle collided with a woman riding an Activa, causing all four to fall, but the accused immediately got up and fled the scene.
Following these incidents, an atmosphere of fear and anger has gripped the city. Traders and local residents have demanded strict law and order enforcement from the administration. Police have intensified patrols in key areas of the city to ensure security.
