Union Minister Raksha Khadse filed a polce complaint on Sunday regarding her daughter and her friends were harassed by men at an event in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district. Police has arrested one accused. The incident occurred at Sant Mukati Yatra in Kothali Village on Friday night with seven individuals named in the FIR at Muktainagar police station. Accused Soham Mali was arrested while teams of police working to nab others.
The suspects face charges of stalking under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POSCO act with additions IT act provision for unauthorised photography.
Union minister and BJP leader explained whole incident to reporters that while she was in Gujrat, her daughter sought permission to attend that event with her friends. Some group of boys followed her daughter and friends took photographs and videos and when staff intervened the boys resorted to unruly behavior and mob of 30-40 people gathered
