Chandigarh 16 DEC 2104 : Punjabi Singer Manmohan Waris came to meet and support Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Ji Khalsa on 14 DEC 2014 at Gurudwara Lakhnaur Sahib, Ambala.Also Punjabi Singers Jassi Jasraj, Ranjit Bawa,KS Makhan and Harbhajan Mann came to Support Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa ,Bhai Khalsa seeking permanent release of those Sikh political prisoners who have completed the terms of their sentences.
Addressing the Sangat in Ardas Samagam held on 14 DEC 2014 at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib near Ambala, Sikh activist Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa said that he was firm to complete his Ardas and believes in Guru Granth Sahib firmly who will surely accept his Ardas.
Ardas Samgam was organized on Sunday at the Gurdwara for the well-being of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa and the release of Sikh political prisoners. Bhai Khalsa has been observing a hunger strike for 31 days for the release of Sikh political prisoners who are languishing in various jails of India despite the completion of their terms.
After the Samagam, Punjabi singers Manmohan Waris, Angrez Mann, BS Sidhu, Raj Bajwa, Harpal Sidhu, Jaswinder Singh Kama met Bhai Khalsa and enquired about his health condition.
It is notable that various Punjabi singers had visited Gurdwara Amb Sahib last year when Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khasla was observing hunger strike on this issue. Gurbaksh Singh’s struggle had gained massive momentum but then he ended his hunger strike at the ‘directions’ of Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh.
