Once again the Indian Air Force showed its bravery in the valleys of Kashmir. As soon as Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter jet entered Indian territory on Tuesday night, the Indian Air Defense immediately swung into action and targeted it in the sky. This action was not only swift, but is also being seen as a clear message – India will not tolerate any kind of tampering on its borders.
Pakistani jet destroyed, debris falls in PoK
According to sources, this fighter jet of Pakistan was trying to cross the Line of Control and enter the Pampore sector of Jammu and Kashmir. But the Indian radar system detected the intrusion. As a result, the Indian Air Force retaliated and destroyed that plane. It is being reported that the plane’s debris has landed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
India’s answer, Pakistan’s cleanup
India termed this incident as a “retaliatory war” as a serious act against national security. Pakistan, on the other hand, described the whole incident as a “regular patrol” and accused India of adopting an aggressive attitude. But Indian security agencies have clarified that the infiltration was linked to possible attempts at terror attacks.
Air defense was on high alert earlier
The Indian air defense system was on high alert ever since the recent Operation Sindoor, in which India penetrated 100 kilometers into Pakistan’s border and attacked terrorist targets. The result of these preparations is that the response to this intrusion on Tuesday night was given immediately and decisively.
Fighting continues on the LoC as well
On the other hand, Pakistan violated the ceasefire by firing heavily in Bhimbar Gali sector of Poonch and Rajouri. The Indian Army said on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle that appropriate response is being given, and the entire situation on the border is under control.
Pakistan’s response – strict tone, warning
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given a sharp response to this entire development. He alleged that multiple targets were targeted simultaneously in Pakistan and termed it as “imposition of war”. He said, “Pakistan has every right to respond, and the whole country stands with its army.”
