India carried out ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Tuesday night at around 1:30 am in a decisive and precise action against terrorism. In this joint operation of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy, a total of 9 terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) were targeted. In this air strike, the major camps of dreaded terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen were completely destroyed.
With the help of RAW, 90 terrorists were killed
Based on accurate information received from the Indian intelligence agency RAW, four of the terrorist hideouts identified by the Indian forces were located inside Pakistan and five in PoK. According to Indian intelligence sources, 80 to 90 terrorists have been killed in these precise attacks. The maximum number of terrorists killed, 25 to 30, was in the camps of Bahawalpur and Muridke.
Terrorist strongholds destroyed
➤ Bahawalpur (Pakistan): Headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed, 100 km inside the international border.
➤ Muridke (Pakistan): Lashkar-e-Taiba camp (hide of terrorists involved in 26/11 attack), 30 km inside the border.
➤ Gulpur (PoK): Training and lodging centre for terrorists, 35 km inside the LoC (Poonch-Rajouri).
