Famous Punjabi Singer and Actor Guru Randhawa has shared his thoughts on the importance of learning Punjabi for every student in Punjab regardless the education board. He requested to focus on mother toung of Punjab. He added that Punjabi language is a source of pride and identity.
He also added that his whole existence because of Punjabi language and the songs in Punjabi forever proud villager, Proud Punjabi and Proud Indian. Many users agreed with Guru Randhawa as they wrote under his post that they endorse this because Punjabi is nearly extinct in Punjab because it was not taught in schools.

Guru is preparing for his upcoming Debut film as actor Shaunki Sardar. He said its heartfelt story of love, loyalty, and cultural pride, it is helmed by Dheeraj Rattan. The film also marks the silver screen debut of TV actress Nimrit Kaur. This movie will hit the screens on May 16 this year
