Explosions at 3 Pakistani airbases, India fired 6 ballistic missiles, Pak army claims

Tension remains on the border between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor. After Thursday, since late Friday evening, Pakistan has been continuously carrying out drone attacks targeting populated areas in 26 cities of India, which were completely foiled by the Indian defense system. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army claimed on Saturday morning that India carried out air strikes targeting Noor Khan in Rawalpindi, Murid in Chakwal and Rafiqi airbases in Shorkot. According to the Pak Army, India has fired 6 ballistic missiles. However, no confirmation has been made by the Indian government regarding the attack yet.

However, Pakistan also said that the Pakistan Air Force has not suffered any damage in these attacks. Islamabad airport has been closed after the attacks. Army spokesman, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that India fired air-to-surface missiles from its fighter jets, but Pakistan is not a nation to be afraid of these attacks and now India should wait for their response.

Amid rising tensions with India, Pakistan has decided to completely close its airspace. All flights have been banned till 12 noon. This decision has been taken after the blasts at Rawalpindi and Rafiki airbases.
