After an allegedly objectionable picture of Samajwadi Party MP and SP president Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav went viral on social media, there has been a stir in political and social circles. It is alleged that this picture was taken and made viral with the intention of interfering in his private life and defaming him. Considering the case as serious, an FIR has been registered at the Cyber Crime Station of Kanpur Nagar.
The party leader filed a complaint
in this case, SP national secretary Praveen Yadav has filed a complaint in the cyber police station. He said that on December 27, a private picture of Dimple Yadav and her daughter was shared on social media from an account named “Indian Story”. It is alleged that this photo was taken secretly and deliberately went viral, thereby violating his privacy.
Serious violation of the right to privacy
The complaint states that Dimple Yadav is seen in the state of bathing in the picture and her daughter is also said to be present in the same place. This is said to be a direct violation of the right to privacy under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution. Also, this case falls under the category of serious offense under Section 66E, 67, 67A of the Information Technology Act and Section 74 of the Indian Judicial Code.
Praveen Yadav said that the case related to the safety of women
is not only about tarnishing the image of an MP, but is also related to the privacy and safety of women active in public life. He has demanded from the police that the viral content should be removed from all social media platforms immediately and strict legal action should be taken against the culprits.

said that this picture has been going viral on social media for a long time. The matter is being investigated and information has been sought from the concerned platform.
