3D animation film Chaar Sahibzaade has taken a toll on the “Happy New Year” at the overseas box office in its opening weekend.Due to popular demand, many more screenings of Chaar Sahibzade have been added around the country and indeed, the world.Chaar Sahibzaade” topped the business chart in foreign countries such as the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Although the multi-lingual 3D film has landed in the second spot in the US business chart, its per-screen average is much higher than that of “Happy New Year”.

Shah Rukh Khan’s two-week-old movie seems to have hit a new low in the key international markets as it has made a poorer collection than the “Chaar Sahibzaade”The movie is written and directed by Harry Baweja and produced by Girneet Baweja. The 3D animated film is based on the real lives and historical events leading to the shaheedi of all four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. It sheds light on one of the most horrifying battles ever fought, in which a handful of Sikhs defended the fort of Chamkaur Sahib, against an army numbering in tens of thousands. The courage and utmost faith in the will of God, on display throughout the film is inspiring beyond words for our younger generation.
