Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj Officiating Jathedar of Akal Takht has strongly condemned the terror attack which happened in Pahalgam. He extended condolences to the families who has lost their loved ones. He prayed to the Akal Takht for eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to accept his wills.
Gargaj said this terror attack has reminded him of the March 2000 massacre at Chittisinghpura in Kashmir when 35 Sikhs were killed and still truth has yet to come to light.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami said the act was inhuman and brutal. He said spiritual and humanitarian teachings did not promote such violence.
