ISRO PSLV C62 Mission Launch: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched the year 2026 today. PSLV-C62 rocket successfully launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center at 10:17 am. This mission is being called ‘Bharat’s Divine Vision’ because through it India has achieved a position where even America and Europe have not been able to reach yet.
‘Satellite Refueling’: Now fuel will be filled in space
The biggest achievement of this mission is the successful testing of satellite refueling technology. India has become the second country in the world after China to develop the technology of refueling satellites in space. A 25 kg ‘Ayulsat’ satellite built by a Bengaluru-based startup will perform refueling in space within 4 hours of launch. This will make it possible to increase the lifetime of satellites in the future.

A close eye on the enemy: What is ‘Invesha’ satellite?
PSLV-C62 carries with it a very powerful Earth observation satellite named Anvesha (EOS-N1). It is also being called India’s new spy satellite.
- Hyperspectral Sensor: This satellite can detect multiple spectrums of light different from normal cameras. It locates enemy positions based on their brightness and subtle colors.
- Security Shield: It is deployed in ‘Sun Synchronous Orbit’ (SSO) 600 km above the Earth from where it will monitor India’s borders.
