Famous singer Jasbir Singh Jassi has strongly objected to the invitation of rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh to the ceremony. Jassi alleged that Honey Singh’s songs lead the youth in the wrong direction and because of them the culture of Punjab is being harmed. Jassi said that recently there was a demand for legal action against Honey Singh for a controversial song. Even after this, why is he being invited to the program.
The singer clarified that his protest is not motivated by any personal animosity. He has appealed to the Chief Minister and senior police officials to intervene in this matter.
