A 23 years old girl died after falling from 9th floor of a building in Lovely Professional University Punjab. As per police reports this incident took place on Saturday afternoon and it seems like a case of suicide.
The woman named Akanksha SN hailde from Karnataka, Mangalore, a former university student and currently working in Delhi, had come to the university to meet a faculty member, according to police sources.
Satnampura SHO Hardeep Singh said, “The post-mortem report is awaited. We are waiting for the victim’s parents to arrive here to record their statements. It is an apparent case of suicide. The matter is presently in the initial stages of investigation.”
