US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran once again. Trump has said that if Iran tries to rebuild its nuclear program, the US will immediately attack it again. He made this statement on Monday.
Trump was saying this when he was welcoming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. In a conversation with the media, Trump said, ‘I hear that Iran is trying to increase its power again. If so, then we have to stop him again. We will crush them vigorously.’
Trump’s gesture was towards the US attacks on Iran in June, in which it was claimed that Iran’s nuclear facilities were targeted. Trump said that America and its allies have already taken action against Iran and will not back down if necessary.
However, Trump also made it clear that he does not want to go down the path of military action alone. He said that America is still ready for talks and agreements with Iran. According to Trump, ‘a good compromise would be a more sensible step.’
He said that if Iran comes to the path of negotiation and shows transparency about the nuclear program, then the tension can be reduced. But if Iran accelerates nuclear activities again, the US will take strict action.
After this statement of Trump, it is suspected that the tension will increase in West Asia once again, because the relations between America, Israel and Iran are already very fragile.
