Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala is no longer among us but his fans still remember him. Meanwhile, another incident happened recently. Actually, some unknown miscreants fired at the statue of Sidhu Moosewala in Sawantkheda village of Dabwali, Haryana. This statue of Sidhu Moosewala was installed last year by the state president of Jannayak Janata Party i.e. JJP, Digvijay Chautala.

After this incident, Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur expressed deep grief on social media, calling it an attack on her son’s soul. She said that this attack is on Sidhu Moosewala’s soul. Her son’s enemies are not letting him live in peace even after his death.

Charan Kaur posted in Punjabi on Instagram and wrote-
‘An attack on the memory of our son, a wound on our soul. Bullets were fired in the memory of my son yesterday. He was not just a stone statue, he was a symbol of the tributes paid by his fans and the love for him in the hearts of the people.’
She further wrote-
‘My son remained the voice of the people’s rights, even after he has gone to the Almighty God, efforts are being made to silence him. This attack is like a wound on our soul, the enemies of my son’s life are not leaving him alone even after his death, but his rebellion can certainly be stopped but it cannot be erased, it is a wave that will continue forever. I want to tell everyone that one day everyone will definitely get punished for their deeds. Our silence is not our defeat.’
Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility
After the incident of firing on the statue, a video was sent to Chautala from a foreign mobile number in which a clip of firing on the statue was shown. Lawrence Bishnoi gang has also taken responsibility for this incident. In the video, it was warned that after Moosewala, his supporters will be the next target. If anyone tries to support him, he will also face the same fate. Dabwali police has filed a complaint in the case and investigation has been started.
