The threat of Corona has returned again: Delhiites should be alert, new cases have increased rapidly in the states, appeal to be cautious

After some time of relief, the fear of corona virus has returned once again. Especially in Asian countries, the cases of Covid are increasing and now its effect is visible in India as well. According to the recent health reports, 254 active cases have been registered in the country at present. The increase in these cases has once again put the health department on alert mode.

New infected found in Delhi-Gurugram and Faridabad

The sound of Corona has started being heard in the National Capital Region i.e. Delhi-NCR. On May 22, three active cases were found in Gurugram, out of which a 31-year-old woman had recently returned from Mumbai. The remaining two infected are an elderly person and a 28-year-old youth from Faridabad. The youth from Faridabad works as a security guard in a private company and no information has been received about his travel. All the infected have been isolated.

JN.1 variant case found in Faridabad

The new variant of Corona JN.1 has been found in the patient found in Faridabad. When this young man felt the symptoms, he was shown to a nearby clinic and then sent to Safdarjung Hospital for examination, where his report came positive.

 Health department increased vigilance

The health department has started investigating the travel and medical history of all new cases. Along with this, those people are also being monitored who have recently returned from places where Covid has become active again. The situation is under control now, but the health department is in no mood to relax.

Do not take the symptoms lightly

Doctors and the health department have strictly instructed that if anyone is experiencing symptoms like cold, cough, fever, body ache or difficulty in breathing, then get yourself tested immediately and isolate yourself. Delay and negligence in such cases can pose a threat to others.

 What precautions should be taken?

  • stay away from crowded places
  • use a mask, especially in public places
  • take care of hand hygiene
  • Adopt a healthy diet
  • If you have mild symptoms, then definitely get tested
