Charanjit Ahuja, a well-known musician and composer of the Punjabi music industry, is no longer in this world. He passed away at his residence in Mohali. According to media reports, Charanjit was fighting throat cancer for many years and was undergoing treatment at PGI in Chandigarh, but finally succumbed to cancer. His death has sent a wave of grief in the Punjabi film industry. Meanwhile, famous singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has expressed grief over his death.
Diljit Dosanjh paid tribute to Charanjit Ahuja and wrote – “The amount of work done by Charanjit Ahuja for the growth of Punjabi music will hardly be shared by anyone. The music made by him will always be with us. A true legend.”
