Yesterday, Bollywood Hungama exclusively reported that the Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a UA 13+ certificate on March 21. As per the censor certificate, the run time was 150.08 minutes, that is, 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds. But we also informed readers that as per certain exhibition sources, the final length of the film is 2 hours 15 minutes and 46 seconds.

As per the voluntary cut list, the trimming has taken place in 26 scenes. 4 of these scenes are more than 1-minute long. A scene with the dialogue ‘Offer aukat ke bahar tha’ was trimmed. A 2 minute 26 second scene with the dialogue ‘Chaar miss call…chalo Rajkot’, a 1 minute 12 second scene with the dialogue ‘Usse leke aata hoon’ and a 4-minute scene with the dialogue ‘Aa gaye aa gaye…bad husband’ were deleted completely by the makers.
The rest of the scenes cut are less than 60 seconds long. The scene of Sanjay (Salman Khan) singing ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ has been trimmed by 11 seconds. A sequence with the dialogue ‘Aate rahenge ab toh’ was 56 seconds long was deleted. The scene of Holi shots and the dialogue ‘Yeh sirf sample tha’ was reduced by 40 seconds.
