A shocking incident has come to light from Kothi town in Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh. Munishra Rawat, a resident of Dafrapur Majra Saidanpur village, underwent surgery for a kidney stone at an illegally run clinic, and died shortly thereafter. Police said they are searching for the uncle-nephew duo accused in this case.

What is the whole matter?
According to information, Munishra Rawat was taken to Shri Damodar Aushadhalaya Kothi by her husband Teh Bahadur Rawat for treatment on December 5th. Clinic operator Gyan Prakash Mishra confirmed the woman had kidney stones and recommended surgery. The cost of the operation was estimated at 25,000 rupees, of which the woman’s husband deposited 20,000 rupees in advance.
Accusations of incisions in the abdomen and cutting of nerves
According to the police, Gyan Prakash Mishra was allegedly drunk during the operation and performed the operation after watching a YouTube video. According to the husband, the woman suffered deep incisions in her abdomen and several nerves were cut. Munishra Rawat died the very next day after the operation. The husband alleged that Gyan Prakash Mishra’s nephew Vivek Kumar Mishra works as a government employee at the Ayurvedic Hospital in Raebareli, and under his guise, he had been running an illegal clinic for years.
Police action:
Upon learning of the incident, police sent the woman’s body for a post-mortem examination. The superintendent of the community health center sealed the clinic building and posted a notice. Police have registered a case of attempted murder against the accused uncle and nephew, and their search is ongoing.
