Amritsar 29 dec 2014 : SGPC President S. Avtar Singh Makkar said that after the success of 3D animation movie ‘Chaar Sahibzaade,’ we have decided to construct a new movie elaborating on the life story and sacrifice of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. SGPC President S. Avtar Singh Makkar also informed in this press conference that SGPC will organize a sensor board for movies about Sikhism. He stated that every producer and director would have to go through the principles of Sikhism for making a movie about Guru Sahiban, Chaar Sahibzaade, Panj Pyare, and all the martyrs of the Sikh community. He said that a panel of Sikh intellectuals will be united soon for this task.SGPC Member Bhai Ram Singh, Additional Secretary Diljit Singh Bedi, Manager Partap Singh and other SGPC officials were present on this occasion.
