In Punjab’s Kapurthala which comes under Jalandhar District a sexual harassment case has been registered against the pastor of church in village. In her complaint woman alleged that she and her parents have been visiting the church since October 2017 and the pastor rook her number and started sending her messages.
She said she was afraid of Pastor and could not reveal it to her parents. Since 2022 the pastor allegdly molested her and made her sit alone in a cabin in churhc on Sunday’s and he use to hugg her and tiuched her inappropriately.
Police said a case has been registered under section 354 A ( Sexual Harassment ), 354 D (Stalking) and 506 (Criminal Intimidation) of the Indian Panel Code.
