Russia-Ukraine War has taken another dangerous turn in 2025. Last Saturday, Russia launched the largest coordinated attack on Ukraine so far, in which more than 400 suicide drones (Shahed drones) and more than 40 ballistic missiles were used. This attack shook many big cities of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Poltava, Chernihiv, Volyn, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy.

Russia attacked the city of Kharkiv with drones, missiles and deadly ‘glide bombs’ in which 3 people were killed and more than 21 injured. 18 apartments and 13 private houses were damaged in the attack. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that “Russia is still targeting civilians. This is not just Ukraine’s war, this is a war of humanity. If the world is silent, then this is also a kind of collusion. Now the war will stop with decisive action, not with support.” Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Air Force shot down several missiles and drones, but three emergency workers were killed and 49 people were injured. Rescue and relief work is still going on. Ukraine says that it is now tired of fighting alone.
He has demanded that the US, NATO, the European Union and other allied countries impose more stringent economic sanctions on Russia. Give more weapons and military resources. Put diplomatic pressure on Russia and bring it to the negotiating table. However, the US has provided security assistance packages several times. European countries provided modern air defense systems. Monitoring and support on NATO borders has been increased, but Zelensky believes that this is not enough. Thousands of civilians have been killed, millions have been left homeless and Ukraine’s economy has been ruined. The Russia-Ukraine war has now reached a decisive stage. If the international community does not take a hard and clear line, the devastation in Ukraine will deepen. Zelensky’s emotional appeal is making this war a global moral challenge.
