Bollywood actor Sonu Sood recently met a young boy named Avijot in Punjab who was reportedly battling kidney disease. Sonu had promised to do everything possible to help Avijot recover, but now that boy is no longer with us.
Sonu Sood recently shared this information on social media. Sonu Sood wrote, “Abhijot, you will be missed. Rest in peace, little angel. Don’t worry, I will take care of your parents.”
Abhijot Singh suffered from a serious kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome. He had to travel to PGIMER Hospital in Chandigarh every two months for treatment. The cost of travel from his village in Amritsar to Chandigarh and the treatment itself totaled approximately ₹45,000. The situation became even more dire when floods took away Abhijot’s family’s only source of income. The fields were completely submerged, and the crops were destroyed.
