On Wednesday Punjab Police Constable Amandeep Kaur arrested with 17.7 grams of heroin in her car in Bathida. She was dismissed from the service on Thursday. Punjab Police and Anti-Narcotics Task Force arrested her on a tip.
Officials arrested her with he Thar near the Badal flyover in Bathinda. When they searched her car they found 17.71 gm of heroin.

“Amandeep Kaur, who was serving as a constable in the police lines, was arrested by Bathinda Police near Nanhi Cha Chowk on Badal Road after 17.71 grams of Chitta was recovered from her. Following the seizure, she has been taken into custody, and a case has been registered. Initial legal proceedings have begun,” DSP Harbans Singh Dhaliwal said asquoted by IANS.
