Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pragya Singh Thakur, who is often in the headlines for her statements, has once again been embroiled in controversies. He has recently made a big statement about the terrorist attack in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir and the subsequent ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched by the Indian Army. Pragya Thakur directly said that terrorists in Pahalgam did not directly say that Muslims came from Pakistan and killed Hindus by asking their name and religion.

Connection of Operation Sindoor and Hindutva
Former MP Pragya Singh Thakur gave further edge to her statement and said, “Muslims fired at Hindus and killed them. Therefore, Operation Sindoor is a symbol of Hinduism.”
Explaining the naming of ‘Operation Sindoor’, he said, Sindoor is considered a symbol of prosperity among Hindus. People from Pakistan destroyed women’s homes in Pahalgam, so it was named Operation Sindoor. Pragya Thakur also alleged that Pakistan and Muslims have hurt our sentiments.
Direct attack on Pakistan: All are terrorists
Pragya Thakur directly attacked Pakistan and said, It is true that all are terrorists in Pakistan. Whether it is their army, Chief Minister or Prime Minister, they are all terrorists. That’s why they can be called terrorists.
He further said that these people came to India as Muslims and killed Hindus by asking them about their religion. Do not kill Muslims. What did they come to decide? If someone lied that we are Muslims, then ask them what to read in the call. If they could not read, they were killed. This statement directly alleges religious identification as the basis behind the attack.
