The situation in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, has become very heated due to the Gen-Z movement. The political situation here continues to be tense. Gen-Z protestors outside the Parliament House are continuously raising slogans against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. In Nepal, this demonstration is taking a violent form. Recently, the protestors set fire to the municipal building in Kirtipur’s Naya Bazar, causing panic in the entire area. Apart from this, the house of Sher Bahadur Deuba, the president of Nepali Congress, an ally of the government, was also attacked. The protesters occupied his residence and set fire to more than half a dozen vehicles. Police and security forces are trying to control the situation.

PM preparing to go to Dubai
Amidst the Gen-Z movement, there are reports of Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli going to Dubai. According to sources, he is planning to go to Dubai for treatment. His private airline Himalaya Airlines has been put on standby. In the meantime, after the resignation of three ministers of the government, PM Oli took stock of the situation with his close associates and assigned the acting responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister. There is tension in the political corridors and the people regarding this possible visit of the PM.
