Extremely sad and shocking news has emerged from Rohtak, Haryana. Hardik, a promising national basketball player, died in an accident during practice at the age of 16. The accident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Lakhan Majra sports ground in Rohtak, while Hardik was practicing basketball alone.

A sudden tragic accident
According to sources, Hardik was trying to grab a basketball pole when the heavy, unstable iron pole twisted and fell directly on his chest and head. The hoop and backboard attached to the pole also collapsed, crushing Hardik under it and seriously injuring him. A nearby CCTV camera captured the entire incident. The footage clearly shows that as Hardik jumped towards the hoop and tried to catch it, the pole suddenly broke and fell on him. Players nearby immediately provided assistance, and Hardik was taken to PGI Rohtak. Despite this, his life could not be saved due to serious head injuries.
