Following complaints of dirty water in the Bhagirathpura area of ​​Indore, the Municipal Corporation has taken action with utmost vigilance. During an investigation, a serious leak was discovered in the main water line beneath the toilet adjacent to the outpost. This leakage posed a risk of contaminated water entering the pipeline.

Repair work has been immediately initiated on the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dilip Kumar Yadav. According to corporation officials, after the repair work is complete, flushing, chlorination, and sample testing will be performed. Water supply to the area will only be restored after the lab report on the water is completely satisfactory. Commissioner Dilip Yadav has clearly stated that there will be no compromise on public health and that all quality standards will be mandatory.

It is worth noting that approximately 35 people were admitted to various hospitals due to contaminated water. Information has emerged that three people have died due to this contaminated water.
