Last night a man in Ludhiana’s Janakpuri stabbed a woman who runs a fast food cart over a food order. The victim is identified as Jahnvi, who runs a fast-food cart in Janakpuri. According to the police statement, the accused visited her cart. They placed an order for a burger. Jahnvi asked her to wait as there were already people standing to take their given order. The accused allegedly lost his temper after waiting for a few minutes and began abusing her. He suddenly picked up a knife, which was kept on the table, and started stabbing her before fleeing the scene.

Police said the incident appears to be rooted in old enmity between the two. The accused identified as as Mohammad Dua Khaleel, a resident of the same area.
Inspector Gurjeet Singh, SHO at Division Number 2 Police Station, said an FIR has been registered against the accused. As per officials privy to the matter, the two had a dispute last year for which a case had been registered previously.
