Bride keep waiting long with ger family for the groom to arrive for the wedding but groom never turned up for wedding, after this girl filed a complaint with police against him in Women Police Station. This incident occured at Sultanwind at Darasar Guru Nagari in Amritsar. Girl said she was madly in love with Gurpreet Singh and he has promised to marry her.
They both were ready for marriage and according to girl she had met Gurpreet’s parents who were also agreed to marriage but Gurpreet siblings were not accepting this marriage. I had filed a complaint with police earlier as well when Gurpreet said he would not marry me. The police had summoned him for questioning and out of gear he agreed to marry me,” she said.
Their wedding was scheduled on Sunday and the victim and her family had made all the arrangements. After the betrayal, the victim filed a complaint with police and said she would no longer marry Gurpreet. “He used me and backed out from his promise,” she said.
