Producer Satish Katyal said that a first amongst the genre of cinema highlighting the pain of 1984 Sikh genocide, the Kaum de Heere is based on biographical accounts of Satwant Singh and Beant Singh.
Based on the true events, as per the findings of Justice Thakkar Commission, the movie does not aim at creating any controversy. Our Only motive is to tell the audience the actual chain of events. Shivtar Shiv has lent cinematography, while Beat Minister has crafted its music. Actor Raj Kakra has written lyrics of the songs.
