A Bathinda court has dealt a significant blow to Kangana Ranaut, the BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh and a popular film actress. The court has rejected her application for exemption from attendance and ordered her to appear in person on October 27th.

According to the case, Mahinder Kaur of Bathinda has filed a defamation suit against Kangana Ranaut. It is alleged that during the farmers’ protest, Kangana Ranaut made comments on social media that damaged her reputation. The court had ordered Kangana to appear in the case, but she remained absent.
Kangana previously approached the Supreme Court, but received no relief there either. Now, after the Bathinda court denied relief, Kangana’s legal troubles have worsened. Kangana Ranaut’s appearance has become a topic of discussion not only in film circles but also in political circles. All eyes are now on the October 27th hearing to see if Kangana will appear in court.
