A big and heartbreaking incident has come to light in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Here, in an Israeli attack, a tent built for journalists near Al-Shifa Hospital was attacked in which a total of 5 journalists, including Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif, were killed.
7 people died in the attack
According to the report, a total of 7 people lost their lives in this attack that took place late Sunday evening, including 5 journalists. Al Jazeera has quoted the head of a local hospital as saying that 4 of its journalists were killed in this attack. The journalists who died include Anas al-Sharif, Mohammed Karikeh, Ibrahim Zahir, Mohammed Naufal and Moameen Aliwa.
Just before the attack, Anas al-Sharif wrote in an emotional post: “If these words of mine reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice, but do not forget Gaza.”
IDF called the journalist a terrorist
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Force has made a shocking claim by posting on social media. The IDF has described Anas al-Sharif as a Hamas terrorist who called himself a journalist of Al Jazeera. The IDF says that they have intelligence information and documents from Gaza which prove that Anas al-Sharif was a Hamas activist and was the head of the Hamas terrorist group.
The IDF also stated that the press badge is not a shield for terrorism.
