According to the police, a 27-year-old man named Shane Tamura entered this 44-storey building with a gun at around 6:30 pm. As soon as he reached inside the building, he started firing indiscriminately, killing 4 people on the spot. After this, the attacker shot himself. Shane Tamura was a resident of Las Vegas and according to police officials, he also had a license to keep a handgun.
The New York Fire Department received information on Monday evening about a gunshot from this building located on Park Avenue. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot and took charge.
