On Thursday midnight a group of unidentified attackers targeted tourists from US and Israel near Sanapur lake abutting Gangamma Temple in the taluk.
According to reports group of unidentified attackers attacked tourist both physically and sexually, leaving two foreign nationals and two Indian tourists with severe injuries and one person is missing too.
The victims are Nama 27 from Israel, Danies 23 from USA, Pankaj 43 from Nashik and resort owner Ambika Nayak 29 from Anegondi, and Bibas 42 from Odisha. They gathtered near the lake for light music session when this incident happened.
A group of unidentified attackers pushed three men into a nearby left bank canal. Daniel and Pankaj swam out of the canal but Bibas went missing.
