Big news has come out amidst the havoc of floods in Punjab. According to the information, holidays have been announced in the schools of Punjab till September 3. All government and private schools will remain closed during this time. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has posted on X giving information in this regard.
Minister Harjot Singh Bains wrote that “According to the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Maan ji, in view of the flood situation in Punjab, all government/aided/recognised and private schools of the state are closed till 3rd September 2025.” Parents and students are requested to take safety measures and follow the instructions given by the administration. Interestingly, due to the floods in Punjab earlier, holidays were declared till August 31, which have now been extended.
