Orange and yellow alerts have been issued regarding rain in many districts of Punjab today, i.e. on 30 August. Let us tell you that orange alert has been issued in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar and yellow alert in Gurdaspur, Nawanshahr, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala.

Along with this, a yellow alert has been issued in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Mohali on 31 August and 1 September. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many areas of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The effect of rain can be seen on the water level of the dam. If water is released from the dam, its effect can also be seen in the rivers of Punjab.
