Condemning the statement made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mann said that the Chief Minister is completely lying regarding the 169 forms of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

He said that the Raja Sahib site, located near Banga, holds immense religious significance, where 50 continuous Akhand Path Sahib recitations are held in a series, and the Sangat has deep faith in this place. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s claim of finding 169 forms at the site is a blatant lie.
The Chief Secretary said that while making false statements about these idols, the Chief Minister also stated that the idols are not fit to be kept there, but he should not display his atheism here. He said that although a meeting was held yesterday in a cordial atmosphere and was very positive, it is still unbecoming of the Chief Minister to take on the Gurudwaras in this manner.
