Six men robbed a Tanishq jewelry store in Bihar, stealing ₹25 crore in gold and silver. Police arrested two suspects and recovered much of the loot. Group of men walked into Tanishq Jewelry branch in Bihar posing as customers on Monday morning, they overpowered the security guard and robbed the store of Gold and Silver worth 23 crore according to police. Police has arrested two suspects and recovered much of the loot hours later.
Out of six robbers only one was wearing mask which helped police to find them with the help of CCTV footage in Bhojpur district. Six robbers arrived in show room on three motorcylces soon after showroom was opened.
At first, two of them entered the store around 10.30am posing as customers. The rest entered later,” said Bhojpur superintendent of police Raj, who goes by a single name.
One of them thrashed the guard and snatched his gun before entering in and assualting two staff persons and then they pull down the shutter. After this they pulled out their guns and threatened them. CCTV footage shows them pulling out jewellery from the shelves and display units and throwing them into bags.
After this staff called 112 police number said showroom manager Kumar Mrityunjay but there was no response immediately
