Bhagwant Mann Punjab Chief Minister begins all party meeting to discuss the issue of Punjab being forced by the BBMB to release 8500 cusecs water to Haryana. Bhagwant Mann has reached Punjab Bhawan the venue for the meeting.
From the Akali Dal, Balwinder Singh Bhunder and Dr Daljit Singh Cheema have arrived for the meeting, while the Congress has deputed Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Rana KP.
BJP president Sunil Jakhar and senior party leader Manoranjan Kalia, and AAP President Aman Arora have also reached to discuss the issue, which has widespread ramifications.
The BSP is represented by Avtar Singh Karunpuri and party MLA Nacchattar Pal.
It may be mentioned that last night, the Punjab government sent out invites to Avtar Singh Karimpuri, president of Punjab BSP, Sunil Jakhar, president of Punjab BJP, Aman Arora, president of AAP Punjab, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, president of Punjab Congress, Sukhbir Singh Badal, president of SAD, and Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon, Secretary of Punjab State Committee of CPI Marxist, for the All-Party Meeting to discuss the issue.
Sekhon has also arrived for the meeting.
