The tabloid quoted a source as saying , “After Jai Ho did not live up to its high expectations at the box office, Arjun Kapoor refused to be a part of the project.” The film is apparently an adaptation of My Big Fat Greek Wedding and was slated to star Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in 2004, but it didn’t take off then.
Quoting a source close to the actor, the report adds that since Jai Ho could not match people’s expectations, Arjun refused to be a part of Sohail Khan’s next film.
