There is news of another toll plaza being freed in Punjab. According to the information received, Mannan Toll Plaza in Jhabal of Tarn Taran was made free by the toll employees today. Actually, the entire toll plaza was made free after the employees protested at the toll plaza over the cut in the salary of the employees, while the previous companies were paying full salary to all the employees. The employees told that now the new IGT B Global company which came in March last month has cut the salary of all the toll employees.
All the local employees are being harassed, due to which the employees freed the toll plaza and staged a dharna at the toll plaza under the leadership of Rajwant Singh Khalsa, Senior Vice President of Toll Plaza Workers Union Punjab Regd. At that time, the leaders sitting at the toll plaza included Avtar Singh Incharge, Amandeep Singh Incharge, Sampooran Singh Incharge, Kuldeep Singh Supervisor, Sukhraj Singh Supervisor etc.
