The increasing infection of coronavirus is once again increasing the concern of people. Another patient has died after the new variant of Corona was found in the country. According to the health department, an 84-year-old man has died of corona in Bengaluru. Earlier, a 21-year-old youth died in Thane. There are 350 active cases of Corona in the country so far.

Recently, two new variants of Corona, NB.1.8.1 and LF.7, have been identified in India. These variants have caused an increase in cases of infection in China and other Asian countries. A few limited cases of these variants have been reported in India, which are being monitored. Major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Gurugram are seeing an increase in infection cases. Although the situation is being closely monitored, officials say that there is no need to panic at the moment.
Delhi Government Advisory
Delhi Government has issued a new advisory in view of the increase in Kovid-19 cases. The government has instructed all the hospitals to keep adequate provision of beds, oxygen, medicines and vaccines. All positive covid samples should be sent to Lok Nayak Hospital for genome sequencing. All the institutes have to upload their reports on Delhi Health Portal daily.
Precautions and Advice
Use of masks: Mandatory wearing of masks in crowded places.
Hand hygiene: Wash hands frequently or use sanitizer.
Genome sequencing: Perform genome sequencing of all positive samples.
Health Monitoring: Contact a doctor immediately if symptoms such as fever, cough or difficulty breathing occur.
