The 20 year old Rakshit Chaurasia who rammed his car in to 5 people in Gujarat’s Vadodara on Thursday in which he killed one women and injured others. Now he is denying that he was drunk during incdident he claimed that the accident happened because of potholes and due to his view was blocked by the emergency airbag and he said he was not speeding.
He said I tried to pass but due to the pothole, my car touched the scooter driving in the front. This was when the emergency airbag burst open and blocked my view, resulting in the collision”.

A video is also sharing on internet in which its clearly visible that drunk Rakshit coming out of his car followong the accident and shouting “Anpther Round” in that video its clearly showed that the car was running at high speed.
The accident occurred late Thursday night at around 12.30 am near the Karelibag area. Rakshit Chaurasia was subsequently arrested. He is a resident of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and is studying law at a university in Vadodara.
He rammed the car into four people, including a woman who was riding her scooter at the time. Identified as Hemani Patel, she had gone out with her minor daughter to buy Holi colours, and died on the spot.
Chauhan, who was arrested a few hours after the incident, underwent a medical test so that the police could ascertain if he was also drunk. The report of the same is yet to be made public.
