Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Assembly constituency Khadoor Sahib Manjinder Singh Lalpura has been arrested. The court has convicted him in a 12-year-old case. After this, he may be sentenced on September 12.
According to the information, a case was registered under SC/ST Act against 11 people including Manjinder Singh Lalpura after a victim accused them of misbehavior in March 2013. 9 accused including Manjinder Singh reached the court today for the hearing of the case, where the court took them into custody and convicted them in the case. The next hearing of the case will be on September 12, in which the accused can be sentenced.
