A wave of anger has also erupted in the Punjab Congress over the FIR lodged against Congress leaders in the Atishi case, and now Punjab Congress President Raja Warring has issued a strong reaction in this matter. Warring said through his tweet, “It is highly condemnable that Jalandhar Police has lodged an FIR against our senior leaders and MLAs @PargatSOfficial and @SukhpalKhaira to cover up the alleged blasphemy against Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib by @Aam Aadmi Party leader @AtishiAAP in the Delhi Assembly.
Instead of taking any action against Atishi for this alleged derogatory act, attempts are being made to implicate opposition leaders.
I have said this before and I repeat it again that we will neither forget nor forgive the intimidation of our leaders and workers.
By concealing the alleged insults committed by its leader, @AAPPunjab is becoming complicit in the crime.
The people of Punjab, especially the Sikh community, will never forgive you.
