A massive fire broke out in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area, killing four people and injuring several others.

A major tragedy struck Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area on Saturday evening. A massive fire broke out in a four-story building, tragically killing four people and injuring several others. It is reported that the fire originated in a shoe shop on the ground floor and spread throughout the building within minutes.

How did the fire start?

According to reports, Delhi Police received a report of a fire in Tigri Extension, Block B, at 6:24 p.m. Police and fire brigade teams arrived at the scene immediately. Upon arrival, they discovered that the four-story building was completely engulfed in flames, and the fire had originated in a shoe shop below.

Four people died. 
The fire department brought the fire under control around 8 p.m. The cause of the fire is still unknown. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

According to the police, two people who died in the fire have been identified. Satendra and Anita are the deceased. Satendra is the owner of the house and Anita is said to be Satendra’s sister. The identities of the two other victims have not yet been established.
