Chandigarh 27 Jan 2015 :We had reported that in most probability it will be Fawad Khan who will be replacing Ayushmann Khurrana in Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’. But the latest we hear is that it’s not Khan but the Singer/Actor of Punjabi films – Diljit Dosanjh, who will be act with Kareena Kapoor in the film, indianexpress.com reports.
The director of the film, along with his team, will leave for Punjab this weekend to finalise locations and the film will go on floors by the end of February. ‘Udta Punjab’ deals with the growing drug addiction in the state.
“Kareena is now shooting for Bajrangi and she will be done by the end of February. Right now, she’s prepping up for her role in Udta Punjab and will start shooting for it tentatively from March”, a source informed.
