Seeking ban on the film Messenger of God, president Parmjit Singh Tanda said Gurmit Ram Rahim was facing cases under heinous charges including rape and murder and forced castration in the Indian courts. He has offended the Sikh community and committed sacrilege. How come such a person is allowed to propagate and portray himself as “Messenger of God”. Slamming the Indian government for its double standards, he said the government banned Kaum de Heere but ironically it has given green signal to a film co-directed by alleged rapist, murderer and habitual offender of law. According to Dal Khalsa, the dera head through this film has aimed to improve his damaged image and influence judiciary.
